Show off your pooch in our Dogs All Around The World Costume Contest! Dogs will strut around the ring representing their country of choice. Humans are welcome to dress up too! Our judge will take into consideration: creativity, originality, design, & presentation.

5:45pm: All Jazzed Up Pet Services LLC’s Rally Obedience Demonstration & Run Thru (open to the public)
Watch Kathlyn from All Jazzed Up Pet Services LLC demonstrate the fun sport of Rally Obedience. After the demonstration, try out the course with your dog. Navigate a beginner’s course by completing the exercises on the signs.

6:30pm: Canine Can Do 4-H Club Demonstration
Watch our members show off their dogs during our club demo! Canine Can Do is for youth in grades 4th to 13th (first year in college). At meetings, members will learn to care, train and show their dogs in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Jr Showmanship & much more. Members must have their own dog who is good with people and other dogs.

7:15pm: Dog Backyard Games (open to the public) Registration opens at 7pm, $1 donation entry fee per dog
Compete as a team with your dog in a variety of games. Games will be selected from this list below. Possible games include:
Musical Dogs (musical chairs)- Just like in the human version, there will me one less mat then contestant. When the music stops your dog must sit on the mat.
Doggie Egg Hunt- Plastic eggs stuffed with dog treats will be scattered in the ring. Dogs will be timed (max time is 45 secs). Who ever finds 5 eggs the quickest wins.
Treat Catching- Dogs will be divided into different heats. On the judge’s signal, the handler will toss the treat to the dog. The dog who catches the most treats in a row wins.
Tricks for Treats- Each dog will have 10 seconds to complete as many tricks as they can in a row without repeating any tricks before the time runs out. The dog who completes the most wins. No treats will be used.
Recall Relay Races- Dogs will be divided into heats based on size. Dogs will be on the opposite side of the ring from their handlers. When the judge signals, the handler will call their dog. The dog who gets to their owner the quickest, wins.
Paper Plate Recall Race- Dogs will be divided into heats based on size. Handler will tell their dog to eat the treats off the paper plate on the opposite side of the ring from their handlers. On the judge’s signal, the handler will call the dog to them. The dog who gets to their owner the quickest, wins.
Cup and Water Races- Dogs will be divided into heats based on size. Handlers walk with their dog through a course with a cup of water in hand. The team who completes the course with the most water left in their cup wins.
Duration Contest- Dog who holds a position (sit or down, ordered by the judge) the longest wins. No treats will be used.
Quick Sits- Dogs are divided into different heats based on size. The dog who sits the quickest on the judge’s order wins. No treats will be used.
Shell Game- There will be three cups. One of the cups will have a treat hidden under it. The dog will use its nose to sniff out which cup has the treat under it. The dog who can find the treat the fastest wins.
Highest Jumping Dog- Dogs will take turns jumping over a bar jump. Each turn they take, the jump will be higher. If the dog knocks over the bar, they are out.

To Follow (no sooner then noon): Agility Run Thru (open to the public) $1 donation entry fee per dog
You’ve seen our dogs do it, now see if your dog can do it too. Try out your dog on our “Just for Fun” Agility course. We will be around to help if needed. Equipment may include a variety of jumps, tunnels, sea saw, pause box, A Frame & more! Treats are allowed in the ring for the run thru.
Note: Handler and dog must be in good health at the time of the run thru. Dogs will be kept on a 4-6ft leash. Handlers will be asked to sign a waiver prior to participating. Youth under the age of 12 must have a parent or gradian in the ring with them. Dogs 18 months and younger and 7 years and older are encouraged to jump at least one height lower than their measured jump height, at the recommendation of our club leader. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult their veterinarian before beginning agility training to be sure that there are no problems such as hip dysplasia, disc problems, overweight, etc. Dog must know basic commands at the time of competition. (sit, down, stay, come, controlled walking on leash, etc). Please potty your dog before entering the ring. You will be responsible for cleaning up after your dog.
